Gary Mark Lee

LEE (Bundy), Gary Mark~52, born April 1, 1959, passed away October 18, 2011 in Dartmouth General Hospital, surrounded by family and friends after a long illness. He was born and raised in Halifax. He was an Altar Boy and Choir Boy at St. Patrick’s Church. He had a beautiful singing voice. He worked over 30 years for several cleaning companies. Gary was loved by many good friends who were like his family and touched everyone’s heart with his great smile and loving ways. Gary is survived by his birth mother, Sylvia Upshaw (Bundy); his only son, Joseph Boudreau, Halifax; sisters, Tanya Bundy, Dartmouth, Darlene Bundy, Moncton, NB; brothers, Craig Buchan, Halifax, Joseph Martinez, Dartmouth, Blair Munroe, Toronto, ONT; many aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews; special friends, Harold (Harry) Moulton, Ruth (Angel) Whynacht, and Velda McGrath. He was predeceased by adopted parents, Alston and Dorothy Lee (Wile); grandparents, James and Rosella Bundy (Sparks) and brother, Darrell Upshaw. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday, October 21, from 6-9pm at Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St, from where a funeral service will be held Saturday, October 22 at 10am, Father LaPorte officiating. Burial to take place in Oakridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Sackville. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff on Three East, Dartmouth General Hospital for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Monica at MOSH.
