Linda Alice Carvery

Carvery, Linda Alice (Reeves), 58 years, Halifax, passed away January 30, 2011 at Northwood. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the Late Wendell and Barbara (Munroe) Reeves. As a young girl, Linda was a speed swimmer then went on to synchronized swimming and was a featured swimmer at the Grand opening of Centennial Pool. She competed in the Canada Winter Games in Quebec and the Nationals in Edmonton. Linda was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She is survived by 3 sons: Edward Jr. (Catherine), Wendell (Melanie) both of Halifax, Randy (Cecelia) Ontario. Brother: Timothy, B.C., one Sister: Nancy Reeves (Cyril) Halifax, 8 Grandchildren, 3 Great-grand children, 4 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by beautiful daughter Zoe. Visitation Thursday: 6pm-8pm at Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, where Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, followed by reception and burial Fairview Cemetery.
