Robinson, Marguerite “Marg” Josephine – 87 of Hammonds Plains passed away March 5, 2013, at White Hills Long Term Care. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Mary (Walsh) Ryan.
She was employed in the food industry for many years and worked at “Gus’ Pub & Grill” for a time. She was also a taxi owner.
Marguerite “Marg” is survived by daughter, Doris McAvoy; three sons, Brian (Colleen), Richard, Kenneth; sister, Rita Beazley; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John “Jack” and companion Alias Lewis; sons, Jackie, Gerald; sisters, Eileen, Doris, Mary; brothers, Cyril and Cornelius “Bud.”
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Halifax.
Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South End Baptist Church, 60 Hastings Drive, Halifax or a charity of your choice.
