Pearl Ann Hiles

Hiles, Pearl Ann Age 57 of Halifax passed away May 12, 2016 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre Halifax Infirmary site. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Jean (Anderson) Hiles. Pearl was a homemaker and caregiver to her grandchildren. She was an avid Bingo player, loved to dance and spending time with her neighbors and brothers and sisters. One of mom’s joys in life was walking; she would walk around the world if she could as long as she could be home for dinner. She is survived by her daughter Diana Mercer, sons Thomas MacLean and Johnathan Hiles, sisters Rosalie, Sharon, Yvonne, Tina, Beatty, brothers Dereck, and Lawrence , and grandchildren Diteasha, Dane’nisha , Gordel ,Ty’ajah ,Keiondra, and Kynan , and several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her Bingo partner Patsy Jollimore and good friend Madelaine Beals. Predeceased by a son infancy Peter Hiles, her daughter Jennie Mercer, sister Wendy ; brother Charlie Visitation will be held 2-4, 6-8 Monday May 16,2016 in Cruikshanks Funeral Home , 2666 Windsor St. Halifax where Memorial service will be held 1:30pm Wednesday May 18,2016.Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery.
