Age 80 of Halifax, passed away June 27, 2014, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late George and Arthemise Martell.
Jean was a homemaker who also worked as a waitress in the Palm Restaurant for four years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Basilica. Her favorite hobbies included traveling with her husband, listening to music, cooking, bingo, and enjoying old classic movies.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Ronald Schultz; brothers, Bill Martell, Cape Breton; Carman Martell, Timberlea; Frank Martell, Greenwood; sisters, Marie Morton and Eleanor (Tony) Ivanko both of Halifax; many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her sister Alice Curtis.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm Thursday, July 3, 2014, in Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
