Renee Lee Veinot

Veinot, Renee Lee (Sarty) 60 it is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Renee who, surrounded by family passed away Friday October 19, 2012 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax Infirmary Site. Born in Montreal she was the daughter of the late Rodger and Elizabeth (Buckmaster) Sarty. Renee graduated from Concordia University, Montreal, with a B.Ed, she then studied in St. Mary’s University in Halifax. Renee worked at Transformation Hairstyling for 30 years. She also was a graduate from the International Language Institute. Beloved wife of Alan, brother Bruce Sarty. Much loved by Alan’s children Angie (Brent), Nicole (Darrell) and Chris (Sherri) and by grandchildren Cameron, Emma, Nathan and Matthew. Renee faced her challenge of cancer with her usual optimism, courage and good cheer. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2pm Tuesday October 23, 2012. In Cruikshanks Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Halifax, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Interment at a later date.
