Robert Daniel MacLeod

MacLeod, Robert Daniel, age 63 of Dartmouth, passed away July 12, 2014, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax he was a son of the late Wesley Earl MacLeod and Arthenise Elizabeth MacLeod (nee d’Entremont).

Robert worked at the Prescott Group and was a hard worker. He loved to work with his hands and to salvage items to repair, demolish, and sell. He liked going to the Casino with his family and liked live wrestling events. He enjoyed a good meal with good company and loved to make others laugh.

He is survived by his brother David (Christina) MacLeod, Bridgewater; sisters, Linda (Lorne) Boutilier and Vivian (Raymond) Sexton, both of Halifax; nephews, Chris, Darren, Donnie, James; nieces, Tammy and Angela.

Robert was predeceased by his sister, Dale Forrest.

We want to thank the staff of 6 Pinehill Road for the wonderful care and love they provided for Robert throughout the years. It was greatly appreciated. Thank you also to the doctors and nurses at Dartmouth General Hospital.

Visitation will be held in Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, on Thursday, July 17, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a funeral service on Friday, July 18, at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s memory may be made to Gateway Homes.
