Schultz, William Ronald “Ronnie”, age 79, of Halifax, died on July 6, 2016, in QEII Health Sciences Centre. He was a son of the late Ronald and Helen(Henn)Schultz. He was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis Jean(Martell)Shultz. Ronnie was a well-known figure at the Midtown Tavern where he worked as a cook for 32 years and made many friends. Ronnie loved to travel with his beloved late wife Jean; their favourite trips being Hawaii and a tour of Europe. Later in life they enjoyed going on day trips throughout the province. He enjoyed playing cribbage and cards and made many friends at McKeen Manor and Northwood. Ronnie will be fondly remembered and missed by family and friends. To the owners of the Midtown Tavern, Ronnie had this to say(with a smile), “Keep the good food coming.” He is survived by his niece, Darlene Terrio, as well as several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Hfx, on Saturday, July 9 from 2-4 pm.
