 My wife, Jane, and I extend our sincere condolences to Buddy's family & friends for your loss and we pray that God will bring comfort and peace to you at this time and always. I am related to Buddy and his siblings through their grandmother (Eva Skeir) who was related to my grandmother (Florence Earle). Buddy and his family lived directly across the street from us during the early years of our lives. Although many years passed since then I still have fond memories of growing up in the north end of Halifax and the happy sounds of laughter that came from the Skeir residence across the street. May that joy and happiness linger in your hearts. God bless you.

With feelings of grief and sympathy I am so sorry to hear of Buddys passing.I am remembering so many visits to the Itwaru home on Creighton St. Such a warm and welcoming feeling there. Also remembering playing piano with Buddy who was so much better than me. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

I remember Paul quite well,  however knowing him for such a brief time while were both lab students at NSIT 1964-1965.  A lovely young man.  My condolences to his family.

Paul was such a nice man, a regular at our counter, who smiled often and enjoyed being part of our family. Loved coffee and vanilla milkshakes, at the same time, lol! A true gentleman! We’ll miss him around here! Wish I could have heard him play piano....

I want to send my condolences to Paul’s family. He was such a kind, gentle soul. My memories of you will always be us talking about Jamaica and how you would love yo go there again. Us eating May Garden which was one of your favourite places to eat. Me and you shopping at Marks Work Warehouse cause you loved that grey coverall suit❤️ You will definitely be missed by all the staff and residents at Pleasant Street House. We were quite shocked to learn of Buddy's passing. He was the first one of our  High School group to get his Driver's Licence. We had many wonderful and cherished times together.

My Prayers and Blessings are with Buddy from a far in Connecticut.   I Will Truly miss my Big Brother soooo much!! Buddy and I were together a lot  growing up sharing ideas and sharing his love for Music...With Mama at the Helm 💕....all of which became a part of me forever 😌.  After I married and moved to the United States  we kept in contact by phone and  Buddy would always end our calls asking about Steve and sending his love 💗 from a far 💗☺️. Dear Uncle, 

I remember my mom, Paige, saying such good things about you my whole life as being a kind-hearted and soft spoken person. When I met you for the first time you were exactly how my mom described you. That's what I'll remember and so you will live on. 

Rest in peace Uncle, love you.

My memory cast back to the earlier  days and listening to Buddy singing songs from Diana Ross and  all the Motown hits back in the day. Buddy was the true entertainer and I visited him in  Ontario and was still without fail remained the centre for entertainment. Shockingly handsome and style no one could match. He has been taken up and will be a new star with the  Lord Jesus Christ and one with the true Living  Almighty God...hallelujah all men (amen).

Although, I never had the pleasure of meeting uncle Buddy ; I was giving the opportunity to learn and hear the wonderful stories about him.

You were all wonderful and treated me just like family. So sorry to hear of Buddy’s passing. He is now with Mama and Dada Itwaru, RIP Buddy. Sending you all endless hugs and prayers!

“sing along” show. You SANG, while I attempted to LOL. Nevertheless, we kept up with the lyrics and notes ( some more than others).  

I know John’s Lunch will miss your presence too. I can visualize you now heading to John’s lunch with a scarf draped to the side, a hat, shirt and slacks. Dressed to impress. Many times I thought you were heading out to Le Bernardin in NYC. 

Paul, You were the meek and mild CTH needed. Miss you Bud. Many years of good memories I shall cherish.

Uncle Buddy will be missed for sure. I don't have a memory of him not smiling or laughing. His spirit and energy lives on through my son who shares his first name and his day of birth.
