With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Trevor James Savoury (51), who left us on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, at the Halifax Infirmary, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 4th, 1973, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Trevor lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Trevor was known for his kind and generous spirit. He was a devoted family man, successful business owner and a cherished friend to many. His warm smile and energetic personality left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by the Love of his life Tara, daughter Victoria Anthony (Michael), Son Ryan Savoury (Erin), parents Edwin and Dinah Savoury, brother Craig Savoury (Nadine), and nieces and nephews who will continue to honor his legacy of love and compassion, as well as Nathan Snair whom he loved as a son.
Trevor had a passion for his three dogs, starting projects he would never finish – including the book he always said he was going to write, travelling, supporting his kids and their hobbies such as horses and motorcross, fast cars, his watch collection, fashion, loud music, his words of wisdom, and his greatest passion was doing things for others which he pursued with dedication and enthusiasm.
A celebration of Trevor's life will be held on Saturday, March 8th at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St, Halifax NS.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Bob and Hayley Burton, and Sheila Amarandos. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The H.E.L.M, reflecting Trevor's commitment to making the world a better place.
Trevor's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.
Rest in peace, Dad. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
