Vanora Mary Munn

Vannie was a kind and gentle person who had a beautiful smile that welcomed anyone who met her. She loved to be around people and family and friends were Vannie’s passion and delight. She always looked forward to her visits and road trips with her sisters, Gwen and Sheila. She was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed sharing her passion for reading and love of music with all that knew and loved her. She was especially proud of her children and four grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Peggy (Tony), Christina (Keith), son Robert (Colleen), grandsons Austin, Elliot and granddaughters Myla and Janessa. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 45 years, Russell, brothers Jamie, Jackie and Lloyd.

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 22nd at 2pm at Cruickshanks Funeral Home 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax. Interment will be at the Murray River Cemetery, Murray River, PEI. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
