She worked at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home for 32 years and then retired. She was the wife of the late Stephen Ambrose. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Marie Brennan, and Carmella Elizabeth Seale; four sons, George, Joey, and Jason all of Halifax; one sister, Eileen Henderson, Trenton, Ont., nine grandsons, one granddaughter, and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Viola’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
