Anna M. RIES

RIES, Anna M. age 81 a former Hamilton and Fairfield resident died Saturday August 2, 2014, in Inverness, Florida. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 30, 1933 the daughter of Frank R. and Lucy (Sandlin) Robertson. On February 23, 1952 she married Louis Terry Ries. Mrs. Ries had worked as a loading supervisor for Thriftway Grocery Store in Springdale, Ohio for thirty-five years, retiring in 1993.

She loved going fishing on Drummond Island, MI, visiting Branson, MO, concerts at Silver Springs, Fox News, flea markets hunting treasures, playing slots at the casinos, and watching her hummingbirds & squirrels. Anna was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed baking and cooking. Above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Terry; a son, Terry (Cindy) Ries, of Nancy, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Missy (Adam) Wurzelbacher, and Liz Ritzi both of Fairfield, Ohio, Amanda (James) Cox of Nancy, Kentucky, Ryan (Jamie) Ries, of Florence, Kentucky, and Ian Ries of Nancy, Kentucky, six great grandchildren, Lexi and Austin Wurzelbacher, Faith Ritzi, Carson and Carter Cox, and Kaden Ries; a son-in-law, John Neal; a brother, Frank Robertson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Neal; a grandson, Jared Ries; a brother, Clarence Robertson; a sister, Margaret Harding.
