Bobby Joe Andrews

Bobby Joe “Bob” Andrews, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was born on July 6, 1934 in McKee, Kentucky, the son of the late Taulby and Melva Mae (Pence) Andrews. Bob was a retired supervisor for Aeronca Aircraft and a member of Princeton Pike Church of God. Bob was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by family and friends. He set the bar high with a remarkable work ethic, and maintained a disciplined interest in health and fitness that prompted comments of admiration from his medical team. Bob was a lifelong fan of country music, claiming George Jones as his favorite artist. He enjoyed vintage cars, the Reds, the Buckeyes, and the Wildcats, piping hot black coffee, a mean game of pitch, and his wife's country cooking. He loved his family, and was proud of his children, and took particular joy in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. An active member of Princeton Pike Church of God, Bob was faithful to serving His Lord and Savior, and we look forward to a family reunion in heaven one day. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Stella Faye Andrews; children, Jeff (Jennifer) Andrews, Jennifer M. (Kenny) Lakes, Jill Bailey, Joy Rue and Julie (Herbert) Robertson; grandchildren, Mandy (Jim) Sawyer, Scott (Laura) Andrews, Josh (Ashley) Andrews, Tiffany (Rick) Baker, Kristen (CD) Davidsmeyer, Kendra (Zach) Barnes, Nick (Amanda) Bailey, Justin (Missy) Rue, Michael Rue, Jessie (Nicole) Robertson, Tammy (Dave Wehrling) Robertson, Jeremiah (Lyndsey) Robertson and Jacob (Ashley) Robertson; great-grandchildren, Jagger, Jamin, Lexi, Ava, Josiah, Parker, Coen, Jackson, Preston, Hannah, Emma, Will, Lennox, Pax, Axel, Jett, Liam, Ryan, Jade, Savannah, Jewl, Landon, Jocelyn, Luke, Charlotte, Sydney, Gabriella, Jacoby, Emmaline and Hailey Faye; siblings, Patricia Broughton, Barbara Jane White and Linda Kay Andrews. Bob was also preceded in death by his siblings, Patty Fraley, Alene Andrews, Ronald Dale Andrews, Kenneth “Bo” Andrews, Phyllis Sue Couch and Pamela Wilson; and son-in-law, Duney Bailey. Visitation will be held from 11am – 1pm on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton-Glendale Road, Hamilton, OH 45011. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1pm on Monday at the church with Pastor Barry Clardy officiating. Interment will be held at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
