Bruce D. “Digger” Burton, age 58 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at his residence. Bruce was born on January 23, 1957 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Robert T. and Dorothy A. (Sies) Burton. He graduated from Edgewood High School in 1975. Bruce was a groundskeeper at Butler County Memorial Park and had previously worked at Dunkelberger’s and Harris Farm. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 407, Trenton Moose Lodge 330 and Hamilton Moose Lodge 36. Bruce is survived by his siblings, Robert (Pamela) Burton, Ronald (Sharon) Burton, Judith (Carl) Downie, Roger (Debbie) Burton, Jerry (Flor) Burton, Darlene Lockemy and Bonita (Steve) Hobbs. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Susan Burton. Visitation will be held from 2pm until 3pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be at 3pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Donations in Bruce’s name may be made to Eagles 407, Moose Lodge 330 or Moose Lodge 36.
