

Age 58 of New Miami, surrounded by many family members and close friends went home to be with her Heavenly Father March 3, 2016 at 6:03pm. She was born in Hamilton July 19, 1957 to Connie (Hampton) Cunningham and Rodney Steenbergen. Debbie’s life work (as termed by her) was a “Domestic Goddess”. She took much pride in taking care of her beloved husband, home and her children. She also took her role as “Grandma”, “Mamaw Debbie” and “Mimi” very much to heart. Debbie enjoyed motorcycle trips out of town with Larry and even rode one of her own in her younger days. She loved taking care of her flowers around the home and in recent years tending to a fruit and vegetable garden with Larry. Debbie was well known for her sweet loving personality and her hugs. The family would say if you were ever with-in arms reach of Debbie, you’ve probably been hugged by her. She never knew a stranger. She was a beautiful woman with an even more beautiful heart. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her. Debbie is survived by her husband and best buddy, Larry Marlow; six children, Tina Marlow, Jason Gabbard, Rob (Kelly) Marlow, Jessica (Jeff) Marlow, Jamie (Damon) Marlow and Cody Marlow. Mother and dad, Connie (Richard) Cunningham; sisters, Pam (Marvin) Featherstone, Denise (Tom) Mynhier and Donna (Terry) Lewis; brother Greg (Julie) Cunningham; grandchildren, Jesse (Rachelle), Karly, Sara, Shandon, Logan, Josey, Landyn, Dylon, Layla, Winter, Trey, Kenzie and grandchild number 13 due October 2016; three great grandchildren; many beloved in-laws and many many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Rodney Steenbergen and one sister Patricia Powell. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at New Miami First Church of God, 185 Morris Avenue New Miami, from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral ceremony will be held at 7pm following the visitation with Brother Earl Harmon officiating. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
