Delbert Stewart Akers Jr., age 68 of Trenton, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 3, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Hamilton on December 3, 1956; the son of the late Delbert Stewart and Mary Catherine (Farthing) Akers Sr. Delbert was an AirForce Veteran. He is survived by his five children, Heather Akers (Robert), Jesse (Morgan) Akers, Brantley (Darian) Akers, Joby Campbell, and Ben Rosenbaum; nine grandchildren, Joe, Maddie, Riley, Millie, Daisy, Waylon, Lainey, Noah and Hazel; siblings, Jacqueline Marie Akers, Mary Catherine Venable, Joanne Lynn Neufarth and Amanda Jean Hensley. Delbert was also preceded in death by his son, Chad Akers, and brother Charles Lee Akers. Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 from 10am-12pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will follow at 12pm with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Beechwood Cemetery in Morning Sun, Ohio.
