Edward Hensley

Hensley, Edward, age 92, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025. He was born in Waynesburg, Kentucky on November 19, 1932, to the union of Ford Hensley and Chloe Hacker. Edward was a retired railroad engineer with CSX. He was a proud man who loved the Lord and would do anything for anyone in need. Edward lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time and making memories with his family. His generous heart allowed him to make the most out of whatever he chose to do.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlene; brother, Raleigh Hensley; sisters, Helen Tolley, Minnie Rogers, and Ada Hibbard.

Edward leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Fay; son, Glen Hensley; daughters, Diane Prior (Daniel), and Donna Casey (Mitch); step-son, Daniel Todd Smith (Brittany); step-daughter, Kimberly Towne (Tom); bonus daughter, Donna Lessard; grandchildren, Kris Hensley (Kimberlee), Danielle Burdine (Kenny), Dustin Prior (Katie), Jenna Hudson (Todd), Chelsea Schneider (Branden), Tessa Casey, Zachary E., Alexis, Jacob, Justin, Cole, and Dylan; great grandchildren, Delaney, Caroline, Olivia, Wyatt, Henry, Sloane, Thomas, Dylan, Griffin, Jaxon, and Maverick, along with many other family and friends who will truly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at Fairfield West Baptist Church, 5345 Muskopf Rd., Fairfield, OH., 45014 on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Visitation will begin at 9:30am until time of services, beginning at 11:00am. Pastor Rob Rosenbalm, officiating.
