Eleonore “Ellen” Anna Scheaf, age 92 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Berkeley Square Retirement Community. She was born on March 31, 1923 in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of the late Heinrich and Dorothea (Schad) Fasshauer. On October 12, 1949 in Frankfurt, Germany, Ellen married her husband of over 50 years, Edward Lee Scheaf, and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2000. She had previously worked as a Dental Assistant and was a volunteer for the Ft. Hamilton Hospital Women’s Auxiliary for 28 years. Ellen is survived by her dear friend, Madge Walters. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and cousins, Barbara Sundermeyer and Betty Weaver. Ellen’s body has been donated to the University of Cincinnati per her request.
