

Frank Eugene “Gene” “Furball” Fuhrman, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014. He was born on April 3, 1935 in Somerville, the son of the late Mark Jenkins and LaVerna Dell (Jones) Fuhrman. Frank had worked at numerous companies over the years, including Avon, Niles Tool Works, Bendix Aviation and most recently at Fluor Fernald, where he retired as an Inspector after 19 years. He was a member of the Butler Aerie #407 Fraternal Order of Eagles and an avid card player. Frank is survived by his soul mate and companion, Debbie Scott; sons, Rick (Deborah) Fuhrman, Randall (Mary) Fuhrman and Scott (Mikola) Fuhrman; grandchildren, Suzanne, Eric and Bryan; step-siblings, Wanda Schuh, Sandy (Michael) Wilson and Phyllis (Michael) Hall; step-sister-in-law, Hazel Fuhrman; and his “baby girl,” a dachshund named Cici. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-brother, Charles Fuhrman; and step-brother-in-law, Kenneth Schuh. A Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Interment will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00am until the time of service.
