Gawayne Jacob McKnight

MCKNIGHT, Gawayne Jacob, died at home on Friday, February 3, 2012. Born July 9, 1960 in Hamilton, Ohio to John and Kathie (Schaney) McKnight of Fairfield Township. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1977, and attended Bowling Green State University and Miami University. Gawayne lived in Fairfield Township and worked at Kroger until medical issues forced him to resign. Gawayne will be especially remembered for his generosity and kind giving spirit. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jacob and Alma Schaney and Lillie McIntosh. Also, a beloved Aunt and Uncle, Mona and Vernon Wilson. Survivors include his parents John and Kathie McKnight of Fairfield Township, his brother Darryl McKnight, and his wife Diane McKnight of Fairfield, Ohio along with his sister, Shawnda Hinderlong and her husband Marc Hinderlong of Columbus, Ohio. Gawayne is also survived by 4 nephews and 2 nieces - Brandon, Jessie, Jacob McKnight and Megan Thompson of Fairfield, Ohio, Chevy and Jhonnalyn Hinderlong of Columbus, Ohio. Also one great nephew, Rogan McKnight and great niece, Jhourni McKnight.
