Glenn G. Madden age 93 of Fairfield passed away Sunday July 29, 2012 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born May 2, 1919 in Jackson, Kentucky the son of the late Hugh and Emma Madden. He was a 1937 graduate of Hamilton High School and was a retiree of the Ford Motor Company. Mr. Madden was a decorated U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving with "Merrill's Marauders". He was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. He was married to Luella (Abney) Madden for over 63 years, and she preceded him in death in 2008. Mr. Madden was a Kentucky Colonel, an avid bowler, and he and his late wife Luella loved square dancing. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church and was very active in the church youth group activities. He is survived by three nieces, Bobbie (Hubert) Fox, Joyce Hill, and Sandy (Craig) Keller; several great nieces and great nephews; a sister in law Helen Mullen and a brother in law Robert Abney.
