Govan Franklin Begley, age 81 of Hamilton Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 at Hospice of Hamilton surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Parrot City Kentucky, November 3rd, 1941. He graduated from Annville Institute in 196y and joined the Air Force RegAF. He is a retiree from Champion Papers in Hamilton, Ohio. Govan is the son of the late Saul and Dorothy (Seals) Begley. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois June (Weaver) Begley, sister Vernie Rose and brother, Joab Begley. Govan is survived by his 3 sons, Darrell Lynn Begley of Hamilton, Ohio, Darrin Cornell Begley and his partner James Andrew Trubilla of Tampa, Florida, Darrius Richard Begley of Annville, Kentucky and numerous friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. Govan enjoyed his life, never met a stranger and was loved by everyone! He will be missed dearly. Memorial ceremony will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11am with Pastor Rick Witt officiating.
