Granville Carew Blair Jr.

Blair, Granville C. Jr., age 91, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. He was born in Garrard, Kentucky on January 4, 1934, to the union of Granville C. Blair, Sr., and Mary E. Sloan. Granville graduated from Hamilton High School and furthered his education through Engineering Training at UC Vocational School, Cincinnati. He worked at Honeywell in Tampa, Florida and then retired from Mosler in Hamilton, Ohio. Granville was both a member of Masonic Lodge Washington #17, Hamilton, OH for over 50 years and of The Shriners-Syrian Shrine, Hamilton, OH since the mid 1960’s. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood working, music, playing guitar, dulcimer and banjo, gardening, and other floral interests.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and stepchild, Stephen Arnold.

Granville is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Roy (Jamie) Blair; daughters, Jackie Ellis, Jennifer Allen (Mark); stepdaughters, Susan Davis, and Patricia Divjak (Joseph); numerous grand and great-grandchildren, along with other family and friends who will miss him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011 beginning at 12:00pm until time of services, beginning at 1:00pm.
