

He graduated with the class of 1953 from Hamilton High School and then made a living as a machinist. In 1982, Kirt started his own machine business, KW Tool and Die Co., where he worked until he retired in 2000.
He celebrated 62 years of marriage with his loving wife Verla (Bingham) Weldon and was a devoted husband and father to their three children. Kirt was known for his generosity and love of family, gardening, boating at Brookville Lake, and lending a helping hand to any one in need.
Kirt is survived by and will forever be remembered by his wife Verla (Bingham) Weldon of Fairfield; their children Mike (Sue) Weldon of West Chester, Joe (Lynne) Weldon of Indianapolis, IN and Sharon (Rich) Bailey of Vancouver, WA; and his sister Betty Jo Hadley of Monroe. He also leaves behind his seven grandchildren: Michael, Bryan, Sami, Julia, Scott, Alex and Brooke, along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Clifford, Court and John; and his sister Martha Scott Maddox.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 26, at Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH. Visitation will begin at 10 am; funeral service will begin at 11 am with Pastor Danny Rollins of Rolling Hills Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
