Harley "Bud" Leroy Bown, Sr.

Age 84 of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday March 29, 2016 at Bethesda Butler Hospital. He was born on March 30, 1931 in Hamilton, the son of the late James and Sadie (Reece) Bown. Bud was a retired owner of Bown Construction and member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anna Pearl (Henley) Bown; eight Children, Sharon Louise (Roy) Barrett, Constance Ann (Rick) Wilcox, Harley Leroy (Pam) Bown, Jr., Clifford Ray (Lisa) Bown, Sr., Timothy Alan (Darla) Bown, Sr., Harry L. (Janet) Bown, Gary L. (Cindy), Bown, Sr., and Faith Elaine (Bob) Haydon; 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren. Bud was also preceded in death by his siblings, James, Clifford, Donald Bown, Martha Martin, Mary Lou Morgan and Elizabeth Moore and granddaughter, Jodi Lynn Bown. Funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2630 Hamilton Mason Road, Hamilton, Ohio on Saturday April 2, 2016 with Pastor Cecil Day officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to services from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the church.
