Hendrika Chaney "Maria", 79 of Fairfield Township, passed away December 18, 2025. She was born May 11, 1946, in Zwolle, Netherlands to the late Gerrit Gijsbertus and Catharina (nee Eenschoten) Aergelo, also preceding her in death are her beloved husband of 57 years, Larry Lee Chaney, brothers Jope and Yuriaan Aergelo.
Maria leaves to cherish her memory, her twin children Eric (Karla) Chaney, Ursula Proffitt, grandson Seth Proffitt and 2 nieces Dorien and Hadda.
Maria met Larry in Germany where he was stationed as a paratrooper in the US Army. They fell in love, moved to the United States and raised their family.
There will be a private family service. Maria will be buried next to her beloved Larry in Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton, Ohio.
