FOX, James B. "Bernie" age 76 of Fairfield went home to be with his Lord on Friday May 31, 2013 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born October 6, 1936 in Metamora, Indiana the son of the late Leonard and Laura (Hunter) Fox. On September 26, 1964 in Hamilton he married Gail Malott. Mr. Fox worked as a laboratory technician at Champion International, retiring in 1997 after over 42 years of service. He was a very active 40 year member of the Lindenwald Baptist Church where he was involved in a host of activities. He deeply loved his pastor and his church family. Mr. Fox was an avid bowler. He is survived by his wife Gail Fox; two daughters Connie (Ed) Bartels and Susan (Mickey) Trammel; six grandchildren Laura (Kyler) Humphries, Jeremy and Carrie Bartels, and Tyler, Megan, and Nathan Trammel; one great grandson Braden Humphries; siblings Nancy Marie Bryant, Doris (Ray) Ferguson, Shirley Sims, Martha (David) Smith, and Janet (Don) Peters. Also surviving are two brothers-in-law Fred Hurley and Richard Malott and two sisters-in-law Zyrada Fox and Virginia Fox. Mr. Fox was also preceded in death by his son James D. Fox, and siblings Rev.
