Janice Marie Plapp

Janice Marie Plapp, age 81, of Mainville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. She was born in Blue Diamond, Kentucky on July 12, 1942 to the union of Harry H. Clutts and Ada Yancey. Janice was a hard-working, “stay at home mom” who had a giving heart. She was very family oriented and would do any and everything for them. She especially enjoyed family “get together” moments and vacations in Myrtle Beach. Janice possessed a “fun-loving” attitude. Janice had a strong faith in God and she spread that mentality to all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Carl Plapp; sister, Elizabeth Walker.

Janice leaves to cherish her memory, sons Rodney (Amy) and Toby (Angie) Plapp; daughters Kimberly (Mark) Reed and Lucy Parsons (Gene); sister, Sherry Lynn Gutzwiller; three grandchildren, Eric (Sarah) Plapp, Cody (Rosemary) Plapp, and Brianna (Taylor) Smucker; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Gabriella Plapp with one more great-grandchild/”blessing on the way”.

Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 12:00 pm until services beginning at 1:00pm. Pastor Mark Reed, officiating.
