John was not a local celebrity but posts on Facebook were numerous after word of his illness. Are you someone who shared with him fishing tales, bets on Bengal games, Talawanda memories or just a good humorous story?
Like his father, John knew his way around anything with an engine, but especially farm equipment that he serviced at his business in McGonigle.
John never met a stranger; he could hold a conversation with anyone. When the chips were down and you needed help, he was the one to call. Always generous with his time and considerable skills, John contributed much of himself to all of our lives.
