Kathy was a very special friend to me. I will really miss her. I have so many precious memories with her. I remember Khara and Terry’s beautiful wedding in Cancun. The parasailing adventure and all the meals together while we were there.  I remember when Kathy was the guest speaker at a women’s conference in KY.  I still remember her message, it was about how God inhabits the praises of His people, so praise The Lord and you will be in His presence. There were dinners with our spouses , my surprise birthday dinner with Khara and Terry, and Kathy and Larry.  I went with Kathy to the Amish country with the ladies at Calvary. Kathy blessed my girls and me at the ladies tea. I remember when Kathy and Larry just showed up to help us move.  There was the bike ride with our spouses, bicycle, not motorcycle(😊). I have very special memories of when we prayed together for 3 years every Friday morning at her house. We prayed hardy for our families and the church. Before Kathy went to be with the Lord, I asked her what she wanted and she requested prayer for her family, including her mom and her brothers. I will miss her so much. I loved how she loved the Lord, how she prayed, how she ministered to so many people. I loved how she was upbeat, spunky, and fun. I loved Kathy and I love her family. I will miss her. 

Jackson family: Words are not enough to convey how you have impacted my life. Although time and space has separated us these past years, love has not. You all have a special place in my heart. Heaven has received a wonderful Lady, and a beautiful soul. It's just another reason to look forward to heaven. Love and to you.

Larry, Khara, Jenny and Brad- oh the memories we have had, and even though those memories are over 20 years ago, they are just in my heart as if it was yesterday! Family dinners and sitting around drinking coffee, you all treated me as family. We all shared our hearts, and that was always encouraged. I’ve thought of you all so many times over the years, and I’ve missed you all! Khara you were like my sister, and you took me into your family’s home for 2 years when I was 19 and 20 years old. Your parents treated me as their own, as they did with many other girls. Always good food, good talks, and good coffee at the family dining table. Kathy mentored me, prayed for me and was never shy at telling me what was on her mind...I should have listened more! :) You all are strong and will carry the light of the woman that carried you all! My memory was from Hamilton Christian Center she always had a smile, hugged you every time you saw her. And treated you like family. She was an adopted mom my a lit of Master Commision students. She always encouraged you to do everything to the best of God's abilities and yours. Sure going to miss her smiling face and living hugs. God received another precious angel.

I love you so much Kathy, You were my 2nd mom when I was in Ohio.  You opened your home for me and treated me like your own daughter.  Love how passionate you were about God, love  your anointed powerful prayers.  You have always made me  feel so special.  you were full of life, fun and laughter.  I am so glad you got to meet my husband and the girls and so thankful for the time we spent together.   I will never forget you  and I will be telling my girls about you, how wonderful you were.  Until we meet again .  have fun with the big guy up there.  Love always, Rania 

Kathy, what a wonderful, upbeat lady.  I never saw a downside all the time I knew and worked with you.  Willing to pray  whenever asked and when you saw a need.  Always brought a smile when you and Khara had your mother/daughter time and you came in with a new color in your hair.  You are missed.  God bring peace to Kathy's family and friends.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Larry Jackson; mother, Mildred (Roth) Smola; children, Brad (Jennifer) Jackson and Khara (Terry) Kiefer; grandchildren, Shelby Jackson, Audrey Jackson and Phebe Kiefer; brothers, Stanley (Sharon) Smola Jr. and Steven (Cathy) Smola; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Smola.
