Louise (Ritchie) Hall

Louise (Ritchie) Hall, passed away on November 30, 2023. She leaves behind her daughters, Roxana Rice and Tanya Curd; sons-in-law, Tim Rice and John Curd; and her brother, Manuel Ritchie. She also leaves behind two cats that she loved so very much, Sugar and Baby. Louise was born in Clayhole, KY where she met and married Ambrose Hall. The very first time she ever left Kentucky was to fly to where Ambrose was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany where Roxana was born on a U.S. Army base. She lived in Michigan, Florida, and finally in Ohio where Tanya was born. Louise was a store manager at Whiting Outlet store in Fairfield, OH for several years, and she also was employed in the paint department at Lowe’s and Home Depot in Hamilton, OH. After she retired, Louise did what she loved most, which was spending time in her home, working in her garden, and cooking meals for her family. She always said that her two girls were her greatest accomplishment. She persevered thru many health challenges and she was very proud to have been able to live independently almost right up until the day that she passed. Louise will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved her, especially her daughters, Tanya and Roxana. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013 on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 6pm until 7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Louise’s name to the American Cancer Society.
