Lucinda Powell, 62, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, January 17. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, E. Clinton Powell; sons, Wayne (Angel) Powell, William (Melissa) Powell and Jesse (Deanna) Powell; daughters, Shannon (Steven) Sams and Elizabeth Stidtham; grandchildren, Amber, Kristen, Jodi, Samantha, Marissa, Hannah, Madison, Katie, Sunny, Sindy, Mindy, Dennis and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Madison, Abby, Baylee and Jaxon Bo; 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Lucinda was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. The family will receive friends at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd, Hamilton, on Thursday, January 21 from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 22 at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Lucinda's memory be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
