Mabel J. Lipscomb, age 93 of Fairfield, passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 27, 2025. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 28, 1931, the daughter of the late David and Ethel Woods. She was a graduate from Hamilton High. Mabel was married to Gaylor D. Lipscomb on December 16, 1950 in Hamilton, Ohio. She worked for the Ohio Casualty Company and then Avon where she retired after 20 years, and she was a member of the Zion Baptist Church. Mabel is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lipscomb Hall; grandchildren, Crystal Lipscomb, Gregory Lipscomb Jr., Adam Lipscomb, Keith (Leah) Lipscomb, Nathaniel Lipscomb, Terrah Whitehead, and Candi Bartlett; brother, John Woods; sister, Glenna Macomb; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years; sons, Gregory and Stephen; and sister, Janet. Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
