Marilyn "Skeeter" Harris

Marilyn “Skeeter” Harris, Age 84, of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday November 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born on February 13, 1933, in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Norman L. and Mary B. (Becker) Montgomery. On November 27, 1952, in Hamilton, Marilyn married Charlie Edward Harris and he preceded her in death on August 15, 2006. Marilyn worked out of her home as a seamstress before working for Eaton Manor Catering and Metropolitan Rooms Catering. She then worked for Brandenburg Furs before retiring from Ringel’s Furniture in 1999. Marilyn is survived by her two children; John H. Harris of St. Petersburg, Florida and Susan Harris of Hamilton; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; special granddaughter Rachel Ballinger of Hamilton; and special great-grandson Keith J. Waltner of Hamilton. She was also preceded in death by her grandson Chris Harris. A memorial service will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, at 7pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 with Pastor Curtus Moak officiating. Friends and family will be received prior to the service from 6pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
