Mary DePew Gilbert

Age 85 of Hamilton, went to be with her Lord, on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Clay Co., Kentucky on April 24, 1927 the daughter of the late Dillard and Martha (Deaton) DePew. On September 8, 1945 she married William “Rudy” Gilbert who preceded her in death on May 15, 1974. She is survived by her daughter, Patty Monzat; niece Pam (Ted) Hopkins; great nephew, James (Misty) McKinney; great niece, Kelly Pendergrass; great great niece, Kylie Weatherbie; nephew, Merle (Linda) Depew; niece, Leila Whitaker; and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Grace Baker: and seven brothers, William, Huey, Robert, Yancie, Lee, Dillard Jr., and Lige DePew. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue on Monday Feb. 18th at 2 PM with Pastor Rick Witt officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 P M to 2:00 PM. Mary’s family wishes to thank Dr. Harry Davin, Dr. Deborah Haugher, Dr. Pius Manavalan, Dr. John Zayyat, and the staff of Schroder Manor Rehab Facility for their care and concern.
