Age 61 of Fairfield, passed away on Monday November 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Hamilton on February 17, 1950, the son of the late Nate Raymond and Marjorie Virginia (Ledford) Morningstar. Mike was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, a retired millwright from Smart Paper and a life time member of AMVETS Post #1983. Mike is survived by his three children, Jeff Adkins, Michael L. Morningstar, Jr. and Amy Singh; four grandchildren; three brothers and sisters, Nate Morningstar Jr., Yvonne Batterson and Gary Morningstar; nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday December 1, 2011 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. A gathering for family and friends will be held prior to services from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
