

Norma Sue (Sizemore) Evans, lovingly known to everyone as “Grandma,” passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, at Hospice of Hamilton in Hamilton, Ohio. Norma was born on September 17, 1940 in Clay County, Kentucky, the daughter of Belve and Lillie Sizemore. Norma is survived by her husband, Harold Evans; children, Shawna Bowlin and Douglas (Victoria) Bowlin; and many beloved grandchildren, Jillian S. (Michael) Laimo, Lyndsay (Travis) Asher, Stephen Bowlin, Cody George, Mandi (Josh) Childress, Dylan (Sara) George, Cori (Ryan) Powell, Sarah George, Bryan (Caitlyn) Bowlin, Travis Lee George, Jessica K. Flores, Kayla Bowlin, Megan Bowlin, and Seth Bowlin. She also leaves behind 28 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her tremendous joy, as well as her life-long friend, Cynthia Parrish. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Monica George; son, Gregory Stephen Bowlin; and siblings, Clay Arnett, Alleen Campbell, Bonnie Arnett, David Sizemore, and Virginia James. Norma retired from Miami University, where she dedicated 25 years of service. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest pride was her family. A gifted gardener, Norma found peace and purpose in tending to her flower beds. She had a traveler’s spirit and enjoyed seeing new places, always returning with stories to share. Her kitchen was a gathering place filled with warmth, where she poured her heart into cooking and baking for those she loved. Above all, Norma will be remembered for her kindness, gentle strength, generous spirit, and the unwavering love she showed to everyone who knew her. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the funeral home with Pastor Allen Stinson officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery.
