Pamela Joy (Watkins) Copenhefer, of Findlay, Ohio, formerly of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was 77 years old. She was born on June 11, 1948, in Hamilton, to the late Graft and Beulah Watkins. Pam was a 1966 graduate of Taft High School and went on to earn her degree from Morehead State University. A gifted athlete, she was both a high school and AAU state champion in gymnastics, and during her time at Morehead she was a proud cheerleader. She stayed active in her community by helping with the Hamilton SAY Soccer organization while her daughters played. Pam was also a member of the Women’s Shriners organization. Family was at the center of Pam’s life. She was a devoted “Nana” to her grandchildren, who will forever remember her big smile whenever she saw them, her encouragement to enjoy sweets and treats, and the many TV shows and special moments they shared together. They also noticed the passion she had for her interests, from gardening and flowers to painting. She also had a fondness for her “grand-dog,” who brought her comfort and laughter. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Trifiletti and husband Anthony of Mooresville, NC, and Natalie Stearns and husband Erik of Findlay, OH; her grandchildren Luca and Nate Trifiletti, and Carson and Madeline Stearns; her sister Winifred Bradler and husband Creighton; her brother-in-law Theodore Jung; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Constance, and her brother Gary. A graveside ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, Ohio, where she will be laid to rest among loved ones.
