Paul Gibson, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at his residenceon Friday, March 18, 2016 at 7:56 AM. He was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on October 30, 1932 the son of William and Maudie (Siler) Gibson. Paul was employed at Big Tree Wood Products for forty years, retiring in 1990. On September 29, 1956 in Jellico, Tennessee he married Lucille Cox and she preceded him in death in 1996 and on May17, 1997 in Hamilton he married Wanda Fisher and she preceded him in death 2003.

He is survived by nine children, Jean (Ray) Hurst, Donnie (Doris) Gibson, Roger (Patsy) Gibson, Wayne Gibson, Janice Parker, Diane (Darrell) McKnight, Jerry (Angie) Gibson, Kay (Mike) Newcomb, and Adam Gibson; two sisters, Beulah Murray and Della Seay; nineteen grandchildren; thirty five great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Paul Gibson Jr. and Blaine Gibson; brother, Harry King Gibson; one granddaughter, Aubrey Gibson; two daughter-in-laws, Penny Smith Gibson and Jean Gibson; and son-in-law, Lonnie Parker.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Paul Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
