

Hischemiller, Paul Edward, was born on May 4, 1937 to George and Helen (Maier) Hischemiller. He married the love of his life, Dotty Brockhuis, on September 16, 1961 and they spent 63 loving years together. Paul worked for GE Aviation for 37 years and enjoyed nearly 30 years of retirement. Paul was an incredible man of God who devoted his life to the service of others and was known for his generosity. He had a dry sense of humor and a unique gift for storytelling. Paul enjoyed being outdoors and loved planting his garden every year. Most of all, Paul loved spending time with his family. On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, surrounded by family, he peacefully left this world and met his Savior.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers James and Steven Hischemiller and sister Judy Johnston.
Surviving members of Paul’s family who will lovingly cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Dotty; sister Sue Bross; daughters Michele Myers (David) and Lisa Stanko (Scott Sr.); 11 grandchildren; Rebekkah Stanko (Dante Cordelli), Emily Cauffman (Donald), Jessica Goebel (Erich), Alicia Redden (Derek), Stephanie Doll (Joe Pruitt), Veronica Ames (Tyler), Alanna Gedrose (Josh), Francyn Loomis (Jonathan), Helayna Thomas (Mitchell), Scott Stanko Jr., and Ivanna Stanko. Paul also leaves 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon St., Monroe, OH 45050 on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 11 a.m. followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m.
