Paul Thomas Rutledge, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born on September 20, 1924 in Scott County, KY, the son of the late Thomas and Ethel (Marshall) Rutledge. Paul was a graduate of Reily High School. On May 29, 1943 in Hamilton, he married his wife of over 66 years, June (Naylor) Rutledge, and she preceded him in death on November 27, 2009. Paul was a School Bus Driver for Talawanda Schools for 30 years and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He was a Farmer for 79 years and was a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau and the American Angus Association. Paul is survived by his children, Sandra (Curtis) Parrett and Dennis (Virgie) Rutledge; 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Stephen Rutledge; and sisters, Hazel Isaacs and Frances Hamilton. Visitation will be held from 3pm until 5pm on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Jud officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Paul’s name to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1285 Main Street, Hamilton, OH 45013.
