Phyllis Barbara Laney

Phyllis Barbara Laney, age 95, of West Chester Township, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 22, 1928 to the union of Samuel Garrison and Nannie J. Bennett. Phyllis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and was very active in many organizations, often in leadership positions. She was a devoted homemaker who loved taking care of her family, and enjoyed cooking for them. She was an avid reader of religious books, U.S. History books, and romance novels. She possessed a beautiful voice. In her spare time, Phyllis enjoyed cheering on our Cincinnati sports teams to victory.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Ronald; brothers, Robert Garrison, Bud Arent, and Willard Arent; sisters, Vera Faye Graffe, and Lucille Arent.

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Robert Scott Laney, Alan T. Laney (Leslie), Michael Laney (Julie L.); daughter, Robin Bridget Laney-Kramer (Bruce); 12 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
