Ralph Jones

Age 76 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton on November 6, 1936 the son of Beverly O. and Dicy (Carnes) Jones. Ralph was a 1954 graduate of Hamilton High School. He was an Army veteran serving from 1962 to 1966 as medical supply specialist. Ralph was employed at Champion Paper for 42 years retiring in 1996. He was a member of AMVETS Post 1983. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family, and loved his pets, Sassy and Pete. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Suzzette Jones; children, Beverly A. (Hansel) Tillery, Dawnette (Rick) Martin, Deanna Bryant, and Gabriel Thompson; grandchildren, Meghan, Lauren and Chrystina Tillery, Johniece Sharp, Cassy, Chris and Rick Martin Jr., Casy and Cory Crank, and Britney Bryant; 8 great-grandchildren; his close friends, Jerry Amos, Vernon Reist and Mike Mallory. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Jones, and his sister Geneva Jones. Funeral ceremony will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave., on Tuesday, August 20th at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5 PM to 8 PM. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Hamilton.
