Ray Ernest Ballinger

Ballinger, Ray E., age 87, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024. He was born October 25, 1936 in Jackson County, Kentucky to Lucy and Archie Ballinger. Ray loved his family, gardening, photographing, any and all family members and family events, he rode a Harley in his early years, farmed with his dad when he was younger, enjoyed fishing, worked swing shift for 33 years at Fox paper company in Cincinnati.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ray Shane Ballinger; sister, Mabel Ballinger; brothers, Oliver Lee Ballinger, Everett Ballinger (Lucy), Paul Ballinger (Yvonne).

Ray is survived by his daughters, Pamela Begley (Allen), Cynthia Roberts (Jerry), Andrea Ballinger, Gloria Ballinger; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Darleen Prince (Norman); brother, James Ballinger (Bonnie). He will be loved and cherished by a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 from Noon until 1:00 PM at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Yellow Ribbon Support Center, 4326 Mount Carmel - Tobasco Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244.
