He was born on October 23, 1944 to the late Robert P. and Elaine {Heet} Clair. Bobby married Judy Gabbard on December 20, 1966 in Hamilton. He served in the United States Army and Vietnam. Bobby worked at Franks Autobody for 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, collecting coins, and watching old westerns. Bobby loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy; son Rob (Sandy) Clair; grandsons Andrew (Sierra) Clair, Jacob (Skylyr) Clair, Tyler (Reily) Clair; best friend and cousin, Jeff (Judy) Peters; in laws Jim (Faye) Gabbard, Darrell (Debbie) Gabbard, Leonard (Lillian) Gabbard, Ronald (Barb) Gabbard, Steve (Sylvia) Vaughn, Doris Bruggemann, Dee Deems, Anna Gabbard; sister Donna Steele; and special friends Ralph (Helen) Koedel. Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers in law Jerry Gabbard, John Bruggemann, William Deems, and his in laws Bob and Betty Gabbard. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 10am until 11am at the Rose Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
