Robert Bruce Crane

Robert Bruce Crane, age 60 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born on November 12, 1954 in Hamilton, the son of the late John Andrew and Charlotte J. (Standifer) Crane. Robert was a 1973 graduate of Taft Senior High and attended Millville Avenue Church of God. He was a U.S. Navy veteran stationed on the U.S.S. Newport, a member of the NRA and a car enthusiast. Robert is survived by his son, Robert Earl Crane; daughter, Jamie Lewis; siblings, Barry Crane, Nora Suzanne Crane and Timothy (Lisa) Crane; nieces and nephews, Kelly Pritchard, Nikki Wood and Brandon Barry Crane; and great-niece and great-nephew, Dani Nicole Hatfield and Colten Crisp. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jonathan Crane. Visitation will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Robert’s name to AMVETS Post 1983, 914 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
