Robert H. HENKEL

HENKEL, Robert H. age 91 of Hamilton passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 29, 1924, the son of Edgar and Marie (Jurkowitz) Henkel. On May 30, 1952, he married Betty M. Dawson. Mr. Henkel worked as a service engineer at Hamilton Tool for thirty years retiring in 1987.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; two children, Nancy (Michael) Compton, and Cheryl Henkel (Allen Moellmann); six grandchildren, Scott and Brandon Compton, Heather Werling, Lydia, Gunther, and Miriam Henkel-Moellmann; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Guy; a brother, Edgar M. Henkel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday in the Zettler Funeral Home Inc., 2646 Pleasant Ave. with Rev. Edwin R. Beck officiating, followed by burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 10-11:00am Monday in the funeral home.
