Russell J. Ledford

Russell James Ledford, age 61, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. He was born in Nelsonville, Ohio on December 4, 1961 to the union of Herbert Hoover Ledford and Barbara Joan Lauzier. Russell’s love for The United States Navy allowed him to serve honorably for almost 18 years. He was a generous and kind individual who never knew a stranger and was always looking for ways to help others in need. His favorite activities included riding his Harley, as he was a member of The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, loving on his dog, “Tucker”, and watching crime shows and westerns on TV.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Russell is survived by his son, Russell James Ledford II (Jacquelyn); daughter, Courtney Houston (Frank); sisters, Janet Fiorentino (John), Susan Miller (Jim), Carol Szilagyi (Doug), and Debbie Zoulek (Mark).

Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Friday, September 22, 2023, beginning at 3:00pm until time of the Memorial Service, beginning at 5:00pm. Reverend James Love, Jr., officiating.
