Samuel Emory Taylor, aged 82 of West Chester Twp., passed away Monday November 24, 2025. Samuel was born December 21, 1942 in Rose Hill, Virginia to the late Trent and Addie Victoria (Eldridge) Taylor. Also preceding him in death are his siblings Robert Habern, Harry Vernon Taylor, Johnny Eugene Taylor, Jessie Willard Taylor, Margie Howard, Cecil Raymond Taylor and Carolyn Baker.
Samuel leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Sherri (Gilreath) Taylor of 30+ years, sons Chris (Gloria) Taylor, Craig (Kristi) Taylor grandchildren Braydon, Preslee and Sara. Also surviving are his siblings Betty Tibbetts, Rachel Taylor, Doris Snellings and Brenda Taylor, numerous nieces and nephews.
Samuel was a graduate of Black Star High School in Rose Hill, Kentucky and was retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of dedicated service. Samuel was a devoted and faithful member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church, Pine Knot, Kentucky.
Funeral services for Samuel will be 11:00 am, Tuesday December 9, 2025 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton. Following service, Samuel will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Burial Park.
